- Abstract
The mutual diffusion in liquid sodium-lead alloys (2.5, 5.0, 7.5, 10.0, 21.0, and 41.1 at.% Pb) was investigated at temperatures from 550 to 970 K by a γ-ray attenuation technique. It was found that the concentration dependence of the interdiffusion coefficient has a maximum in the vicinity of 20 at.% Pb. It was shown that this feature is connected to a tendency for the formation of NaPb ionic complexes in the melts.
