- Abstract
The article discusses the moral benefits society gets from free market. This issue of moral aspects of capitalism tend to be overlooked by economists who are focused on the issue wealth and by ethicists who are focused on morality. Morality and economics are by themselves two distinct and different disciplines. And philosophers are quick to take issue of the morality of capitalism. There are several factors why a consideration of capitalism always exclude morality. One of these factors is capitalism's promotion of the concept of self-interest.
