- Abstract
The article reports on the increasing level of collaborative trends for science research in Europe. It states that half of research articles in the European Union (EU) had international co-authors in 2007. According to András Schubert, editor of "Scientometrics," international collaboration have come out because of possibilities such as the Internet which allows scientists to find each other and reduced communication cost makes it easier for long distance interaction.
