- Abstract
This article discusses the role of the trustees of the Financial Accounting Foundation (FAF). The trustees responsibilities are to ensure the process of creating new standards is transparent, inclusive and effective. They also appoint members to the Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council as well as several other boards. The budgets of the foundation and the various boards and councils charged with developing and implementing accounting standards are prepared and administered by the trustees.
