- Abstract
Reports on the common green seaweeds Enteromorpha intestinalis and E. compressa which are important fouling organisms and have been commonly been used as indicators of eutrophication. Use of molecular data in parallel with morphological characters to resolve taxonomic problems in the species; Low level of sequence divergence within each group of samples.
