CELULARIDADE DE EFUSÃO CELOMÁTICA DE AVE DOMÉSTICA COM INSUFICIÊNCIA CARDÍACA CONGESTIVA.

- Abstract
A Síndrome Ascítica, é um conjunto de sinais que acomete principalmente aves de corte, em decorrência do melhoramento genético. O processo resulta em ganhos de peso desproporcionais à fisiologia do animal, comprometendo seu sistema cardiorrespiratório. O quadro de hipóxia é provocado pela disparidade entre o peso vivo e o tamanho do órgão circulatório, resultando em aumento da viscosidade sanguínea, acompanhado de hipertensão pulmonar. Esta resistência vascular sobrecarrega ainda mais o ventrículo direito, que já estava com sua função comprometida, ocasionando o estado congestivo responsável pela ascite. A fotomicrografia retrata o 2° derrame cavitário de uma galinha com 2 anos e 4 meses, atendida no Hospital Veterinário da FMVZ - Unesp Botucatu. A ave no exame clínico apresentava suspeita de insuficiência cardíaca congestiva com sinais como: sopro cardíaco 5/6, dispneia e postura alterada, além de efusão celomática, evidenciada no exame radiográfico da cavidade celomática e coletada por punção aspirativa por agulha fina (PAAF). Nesse caso, o líquido ascítico exibia aspecto macroscópico límpido, coloração amarelada, densidade 1,018, proteína 2,0 g/dl, hemácias 50/µl, células nucleadas 905/µl; característico de um transudato simples. Posteriormente, este líquido foi citocentrifugado para análise citológica. A microscopia evidenciou predomínio de macrófagos com vacuolização citoplasmática (74%) (setas pretas), que também podem ser denominados de macrófagos espumosos. Na ICC direita espera-se uma efusão classificada como transudato simples, formada pelo aumento da pressão hidrostática, todavia devido a cronicidade do caso, o transudato pode sofrer modificações bioquímicas e citológicas, alterando suas características e podendo até apresentar classificação de exsudato, como ocorreu no 1° derrame cavitário da galinha deste reporte. Outros achados citológicos foram a presença de células mononucleares (14%), linfócitos típicos (05%), heterófilos (03%), mielócito (01%) e células mesoteliais reativas (03%).
