- Abstract
The article presents a report in which the journal's readership, impact factor, and subject material is examined. The awarding of an impact factor of 3.587 by Thomson Reuters, which is higher than any other special education journal, is commented on. Charts examining the subjects and types of articles published in the twelve months prior and the racial backgrounds and other characteristics of research subjects are also presented. The special features articles included in the current issue of the journal are also touched on.
