- Abstract
A case study is presented of a 77-year-old non-smoking male of Japanese descent who was diagnosed with Stage II a (T1aN1M0) lung adenocarcinoma. Topics include the prevalence of interstitial lung disease (ILD) as of 2014; a retrospective cohort study of Japanese patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC); and crizotinib-induced acute ILD in this patient with EML4-ALK (echinoderm microtubule-associated protein-like 4 anaplastic lymphoma kinase) positive NSCLC and chronic pneumonia.
