- Abstract
The article discusses the group size and population density of the avian species Grey Junglefowl Gallus sonneratii at the Melghat Tiger Reserve in Maharashtra, central India. It notes that the endemic Grey Junglefowl is listed a s Least Concern in status among the bird communities. It reveals that the bird sightings have shown different estimates of bird population density due to the differences in methodology and habitat.
