- Abstract
The article discusses several studies presented at a special session of the 2014 Association for Consumer Research (ACR) Conference, titled "Incentives for Good Behavior and Good Behavior as Incentives." Topics covered include the characteristics of incentives that influence their effectiveness in encouraging prosocial behavior, the use of contingent match incentives to induce people to become recurring donors, and the use of prosocial incentives in the field. The use of cause-related marketing campaigns for conventional products is also mentioned.
