- Abstract
The article discusses the decision of the U.S. Supreme Court case of Morrison v. National Australia Bank Ltd., in which the court upheld the presumption against extraterritorial application of law three weeks after the passage of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (Dodd-Frank Act) in July 2010. It examines the utility of the presumption against territoriality on securities law. The author further highlights the changes in the conflict of laws in the U.S.
