- Abstract
"[As psychologists], we could offer to teach residents in New London - both older and young - how to think about race-related memories and how to conduct narrative research interviews", says Hamlett. "Our community partners were instrumental in connecting us with older New London residents and high school students who would participate in the training and interview process. Dr. Nakia Hamlett, the William Meredith Assistant Professor of Psychology at Connecticut College, spent the summer working on an innovative project focused on tackling issues of racial justice in the college's city of New London, CT.
