- Authors
Inman, Johanna
- Abstract
In the article, the author discusses teaching innovations in the higher education sector in the U.S. as of February 2015, particularly the teaching through critique method. According to Professor Terry Barrett, critique is a dialogue between teachers and students engaging the views of the teacher, the student whose work is discussed and his or her peers. Also cited are the evidence-based practices used in critique, including active learning and formative assessment.
