The article focuses on the use of the Lastacaft eye drop for the treatment of itching caused by allergic conjunctivitis. Rajesh K. Rajpal, an ophthalmologist, states that the eye drop is well-tolerated and that most of his patients are comfortable with it. Lastacaft is said to have no contraindications yet requires the removal of contact lenses prior to administration. It discusses a clinical trial that highlights the rapid onset of therapeutic benefit and prolonged action of the topical agent.
