- Abstract
This study has the historical materialism as reference, and aims at apprehending, from Brazilian documents and curricula, possible unfolding of current reforms in Vocational High School courses, as well as their consequences for the human formation. Damages that Technical and Vocational High School reform of 2017 bring to young people become evident with the curriculum proposed. It meets the productive and meritocratic logic, and the accountability on the own individuals' choices for their success or failure, further opening the public funding for the private sector. When analyzing skills suggested in the reference of the State of Paraná for vocational, deepening of the capital determinants and its demands is verified because the objective is for the workers to adjust to the labor market or to the absence of work, and that they fulfill their duty as citizens. The study infers that deepening of productive logic in educational curricula has been the watchword, demonstrating its adjustment to the needs of globalized capital, whose contradictions are increasingly revealed and exacerbated, demanding intensifying the capture of worker subjectivity.
