- Abstract
The article focuses on the effects of urbanization on the spread of vector borne diseases (VBDs). It reports that poor urban communities suffer the most from VBDs as well as the need for global policies to fight for sustainable urbanization. Also included are practical solutions for the spread of VBDs such as community participation, sustainable development, and encouraging a proper standard of hygiene among urban communities.
