- Abstract
This article, published in the Journal of Plant Pathology, reports the first cases of stem canker on durian and jackfruit caused by Fusarium decemcellulare in Taiwan. The study observed stem canker with irregular shape and dark brown margins on durian and jackfruit trees in Pingtung and Kaohsiung. Fungal isolations were conducted, and the dominant fungus was identified as Fusarium decemcellulare. Pathogenicity tests confirmed that the fungus was responsible for the observed symptoms. This is the first report of Fusarium decemcellulare causing stem canker on durian and jackfruit in Taiwan.
