- Abstract
The article discusses the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution in light of the U.S. Supreme Court's decision in the case Bartnicki v. Vopper which involved the statutory regulation of intercepted telephone conversations. The court in Bartnicki held that the news media does have a right to publish truthful information on matters of public concern even if the information is obtained through an illegal process.
