Let the Punishment Fit the Crime (Unless It's a Sex Crime): A Critique of the Kansas Supreme Court's Rubber Stamp of Approval upon Mandatory Lifetime Postrelease Supervision for Sex Offenders [State v. Mossman, 281 P.3d 153 (Kan. 2012)].

- Abstract
The article criticizes the punishment for the sexually-violent crime in the Kansas Supreme Court by citing reference to the case State v. Mossman. It states that Mossman was charged for sexually assaulting a minor aged girl and for having one count of cocaine, and was found guilty on filing no contest plea. It states that the Kansas law was blamed of giving a cruel and unusual punishment of post release, and concludes about court's approach to proportionality analysis.
