- Title
A NEW AUTOMATED CLASS OF ONLINE DISPUTE RESOLUTION: CHANGING THE MEANING OF COMPUTER-MEDIATED COMMUNICATION.
- Authors
Farned, Dusty Bates
- Abstract
The article focuses on the online dispute resolution (ODR) which has been automating at a rapid pace despite economic turbulence in the U.S. It notes that ODR is not all about the use of technology to resolve disputes, but rather about improving the choices among other alternatives. It adds that while computer-mediated communication has taken a new meaning, every individual should begin to explore ways on how to communicate and negotiate with machines.
