- Abstract
The aim of this article is to understand the role that organic consumption plays in the relationship between nature and culture. It is based on an ethnographic fieldwork conducted on Biocoop store and with consumers of organic products. This article analyses how these customers, on the one hand, still considering nature and culture as opposed which is typical from an occidental way of thinking and, on the other hand, demonstrate an ontological evolution toward a hybrid relationship between nature and culture. Finally, it recommends some actions what retailers can do to follow this evolution of consumers mentality.
