In the article multiple contributors present their viewpoint on a case concerning the end-of-life care of a patient who is under the care of the U.S. State Department of Human Services. A clinician reports that the location of care is an important factor concerning terminal treatment. A social worker discusses medical ethics and the value of a patient advocate. A nurse comments on the importance of palliative care and hospice intervention.
