Evacuation order lifted on Tamura, three years after Fukushima.
- Abstract
The article reports that the residents of Tamura town in Fukushima, Japan, have been allowed by the government of Japan to return to the town after being evacuated due to the Fukushima-Daiichi nuclear accident occurred on March 11, 2011. According Japanese Trade and Industry Minister Kazuyoshi Akaba, the decontamination work in the affected areas has reduced the level of radiation to below 20 millisieverts a year.
