- Abstract
The article focuses on a study related to the South African food and beverage manufacturing industry (SAFBMI ) and its contribution to applied science and technology. The contribution include the manufacturing facilities upgrade, building new plants to increase capacity, deliver new products and improve efficiencies and product quality and safety. The study also found application of commercially available new preservation technologies by the SAFBMI.
