- Abstract
The article focuses on reflective assessment technique that evaluates the in-class works of students. It notes that the technique, which was developed through the Formative Assessment in Science Through Technology (FAST) and Assessing Science Knowledge (ASK) programs, is composed of four steps namely anticipate, review, reflect, and adjust. It cites that teachers foresee one or two concepts on upcoming classroom activity under the first step. Accordingly, teachers review the performance of the students after the activity if the latter understood the concepts or not. It notes that the 3rd step involves the reflection of the teacher after reviewing the student work. It states that the 4th stage will let the teachers plan the next steps to aid students clarify their understanding.
