- Abstract
The molybdenum disulfide (MoS 2) and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) coated solid - lubricated bearings are prepared, and the friction torque test is carried out under liquid nitrogen environment to study the changes in friction torque of the bearings under low - speed operating conditions. The results show that the friction torque of uncoated bearings under liquid nitrogen environment is higher than that under room temperature, and the friction torque of coated bearings under liquid nitrogen environment first increases and then decreases with increase of running - in time, first higher than that under room temperature and then lower than that under room temperature; the friction torque of PTFE coated bearings is higher than that of MoS2 coated bearings, but the fluctuation of friction torque is relatively small.
