- Abstract
Aimed at the problem that the magnetic flux leakage signals of circumferential cracks at different curvature radii of bearing ring raceway surfaces are inconsistent, which affects the judgment of magnetic flux leakage detection results of rings, the influence law of curvature radii of ring raceway surfaces on magnetic field distribution inside rings and magnetic flux leakage signals of circumferential cracks is analyzed by finite element simulation. The results show that the magnetic flux leakage signals increase with the continuous increase of curvature radii, and the baseline signals also have a deviation. In order to reduce the influence of curvature radii on magnetization effect, a local magnetization method is proposed to optimize the structural parameters of magnetizer, and a signal compensation method is proposed based on characteristic parameters of surface curvature radii, which reduces the relative change of amplitudes of magnetic flux leakage signals of ring cracks from 93.37% to 9.8%, significantly improving the consistency of magnetic flux leakage signals of ring cracks.
