- Abstract
The article presents information on the U.S. Supreme Court's case Bivens v. Six Unknown Named Agents of Federal Bureau of Narcotics, in which plaintiff has imposed monetary liability against defendants in violation of their constitutional rights under the U.S. Civil Rights Act of 1871. It informs that the Court has allowed a case-by-case determination of whether or not special factors preclude constitutional damages. It discusses judge-made-remedies in the case.
