Nest‐site provisioning re‐shapes species interactions within bird assemblages.
- Authors

- Abstract
The article focuses on artificial nest provisioning, which is a conservation method used in the management of secondary cavity-nesting bird species. It states that the re-shaping of the nesting landscape can alter the composition of bird communities, and also impacts bird species distributions. It is stated that providing artificial nests can promote agonistic interspecific interactions among birds, such as competition and predation in the new nesting landscape.
