The article discusses the discovery of a rare 1891 moth called Sundew Plume by moth collector, G. T.Porritt from Yorkshire, while he was visiting Thorne Moors in England. It mentions that the caterpillars of Sundew Plume feed on Round-leaved sundew plant or Drosera rotundifolia which is Round-leaved with sticky fluid at its end. It mentions that industrial scale peat milling and the devastating drainage of Thorne Moors the Sundew Plume is on verge of extinction.
