- Abstract
The article focuses on the U.S. Supreme Court's holding in District of Columbia v. Heller and constitutionality of restrictions on assault weapons. It mentions National Rifle Association's influence on Congress when the Consumer Product Safety Act was enacted and gun dealer negligently supplies guns to criminals, the dealer may not be held liable. It also mentions guns can be and sometimes are used in self-defense or assaults and homicides.
