ONS Research Agenda Identifies Critical Areas of Oncology Nursing Research.
- Abstract
The article presents information on the 2005-2009 Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Research Agenda which identifies critical areas where research is needed to advance the science and practice of oncology nursing. The research agenda is composed of six major content areas, each of which includes high-priority topics. The ONS Foundation uses the agenda to seek funding for oncology nursing research grants. A focus on neurologic side effects of cancer treatment has been added to the "Research in Cancer Symptoms and Side Effects" content area.
