- Abstract
The article features Reeva Forman, a South African Jew who organized the "Israel Now" tour that aims to help the people of Israel recover from the war waged by the Palestinians. The twin aims of the project were to foster solidarity between Israel and the South African Jewry and learn first hand on the situation in the region. Forman is an official on the South African (SA) Jewish Board of Deputies (Gauteng Council) and the SA Zionist Federation Executive. The tour programme also focuses on Israel's relationship with its neighbours, including Jordan.
