The article focuses on concerns regarding the impact of anthropogenic sea level rise on the citizens of deterritorialized Asia-Pacific Small Island-States (APSISs). It explores the shortcomings in the international law with respect to displaced APSIS citizens. It mentions the need for an international convention for fulfilling APSIS citizens' legal status, and human rights including right to nationality; right of self-determination and right to housing.
