- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 16-year old boy who suffered from blockage in the left main coronary artery (LMCA) caused by Kawasaki disease (KD). The patient's medical history says that in the early years, he suffered from KD with a giant aneurysm in the LMCA, a small one at the right coronary artery (RCA) and a myocardial infarction. The diagnosis reveals a rare congenital atresia of the LMCA. Coronary arterial bypass graft (CABG) followed and the patient recovered from the disease.
