- Abstract
The operational resources, i.e. raw materials and time are the primary challenges in the automotive industry. The finite elements method driving as a solution for those problems, in order to obtain an approach results compare real behaves, for example, in the deep drawing process. The objective of this work was a study of friction coefficient conditions in numerical simulation by finite elements of dual phase steel DP600, using Erichsen cup test which simulates biaxial strain aiming at sheet metal forming ductility. It has been performed these test with an experiment data inserted on the FORGE® software. It could be possible to verify the friction coefficient influence during the numerical simulation in pressure distribution, effective stress, local necking and strain rate.
