- Title
The Cooperation Argument for Fairness in International Trade.
- Authors
de Bres, Helena
- Abstract
The article focuses on a welfare consequentialist argument relative to the system of fairness in terms of the international trade. It states that a real welfare consequentialist case within a multilateral trading setting can be generated if distributive fairness would be justified throughout the board in terms of welfare consequentialism. It says that fairness has egalitarian implications and it promotes the welfare advantages associated to international egalitarianism.
