- Abstract
The author reports on changes which have been made to the California state tax code and the impact which these changes have had on state tax payers. Various aspects of the California tax code are discussed, including the burden which state and federal taxes have on California residents and potential changes which may be made to the California tax system. Changes which have been made to state income taxes in order to cope with public expenditures are discussed. The way in which changes to the California tax system will impact tax payers is mentioned.
