- Title
Amurru between atti, Assyria, and Aiyawa. Discussing a recent hypothesis.
- Authors
Devecchi, Elena
- Abstract
The article discusses the hypothesis on the important changes manifested in the material culture of the Syrian site Tell Kazel. It says that it must be interpreted as the result of a trade policy issued by Hittite King Tut&#1E2B;aliya IV on the ancient kingdom of Amurru. It states that Tell Kazel was an important site during the Late Bronze Age (LBA) and was one of the main administrative centers of Amurru, when it was still under control of the Hittites.
