- Abstract
The article presents a study that evaluates the perceptions of high school students on their internship experiences and its effects on their career choices and changes. The study was conducted on 52 senior students at the Academy for Science and Health Professions (ASHP) in Texas through an interview and is qualitatively evaluated. The results of the study show that the internship experiences of senior high schoo students did affect their choice of college major.
