- Abstract
The article presents a study on the patterns of tree-related injuries in Morristown Medical Center (MMC) in Morris County, New Jersey. The study uses the trauma registry of MMC from 2011 to 2015 and identifies injuries caused by trees. Result shows high record of tree-related injuries in 2012, following the devastation of Hurricane Sandy. Among the main causes of tree-related traumas include motor vehicle crashes (MVC), fall from trees, and falling of trees.
