- Abstract
The article discusses a court case wherein the claimant claimed damages against the defendant hospital for negligent failure to diagnose fetal anomaly at 20 week scan in September 2006. It notes the defendant's appeal indicating that the claimant is only entitled to claim for additional damages associated with her child's disability. Furthermore, the claim was settled in the sum of 1.8 million pound according to claimant's negotiated Part 36 offer.
