The author explores the relationship between the two terms associated with risk management that are risk manager and risk adviser. According to him, the role of the risk manager is to manage risks associated with his organization whereas risk adviser assists and supports in the function of a risk manager with the reported that assess risk associated data. He further explains that the risk managers are generally not involved in strategic decision-making related to financial risk factors.
