- Abstract
A system of single wall carbon nano-tubes is focused to study dispersive properties of plasma waves in the presence of uniform axial magnetic field B 0 . Quantum Hydrodynamic model is proposed for the dynamical treatment of quantized low β dense electron plasmas. The impact of quantum characteristics of plasma electrons like Landau quantization of statistical Fermi states and exchange-correlation potential on the growth rate in the carbon nano-tubes are studied. It is noticed that wave-guide configuration of the plasma system plays a significant role in the growth rate. The parallel propagation to the magnetic field is treated by Fourier transformation, whereas its perpendicular plane complies the Bessel solution. This work seeks its application in the sensors, semiconductor devices and textiles, etc. Moreover, it can be helpful to understand quantum effects on conducting charge carriers in the nano-tubes. The graphical analysis depicts the significant role of axial magnetic field in the Landau quantization.
