- Abstract
In this paper we highlight formative and summative aspects in webfolios of investigative activities elaborated in a discipline of Differential and Integral Calculus of a real variable. The theoretical framework is based on the webfolio as a collection of activities developed in some virtual learning environment and investigative activities are considered essentially open and unstructured, capable of covering situations of interest to students and mobilizing knowledge of different natures. The qualitative analysis of an interpretative nature of the collection of four of the investigative activities present in the five webfolios prepared in groups by students of a Degree in Chemistry, allowed us to highlight aspects related to formative assessment with regard to the study of functions through deduction from mathematical models, to understanding derivatives of functions of a real variable. Furthermore, considering that the webfolio was configured as an instrument for evaluating the performance of the discipline, summative aspects are linked to the grade attributed to the groups.
