- Abstract
This article discusses the human formation of youth in Bahia, the directions of public policies for the professional education of the proletariat in the capitalist mode of production. Thus, it aimed to debate the historical project and foundations that guide the curriculum implemented in Public Educational Network in Bahia, the possibilities of overcoming the struggle between antagonistic projects, waged in the schooling field. It was searched the theories, contradictions, and possibilities of overcoming subsidize the curriculum and pedagogical work in professional training in Bahia, facing the project of emancipation of the proletariat. The objective is to analyze, in the curriculum, the pedagogical work of technical high school teachers, the contributions in the schooling of youth, and the emancipation of the working class, through descriptive research, from documentary - decree and laws and bibliographic sources. The investigative procedures are the content analysis of documentary sources. The results discussion theoretical basis is the one that explains capital definition, professional schooling, and the historical project of emancipation of the working class. In conclusion, in adverse objective conditions, permeated with contradictions, the curricular foundations of the historical-critical pedagogical theory, referenced in the historical project of overcoming capitalism, are structuring axes for the professional training of youth.
