- Abstract
The article discusses the role of trapdoor functions in the encryption schemes recognized by the National Institute of Standards and Technology. The mathematical operations for the cryptography algorithm based on two random prime numbers are described under the Rivest, Shamir and Adleman approach. The Diffie-Hellman-Merkle method is introduced a means of elevating the difficulty of cyphertext decryption along with elliptic curve cryptography and other advanced encryption standard algorithms.
