- Abstract
The present work contains an exhaustive inventory of the Carlos II silver series minted in Valencia between 1681 and 1699. During this era, machinery for manufacturing coins was introduced for the first time in this mint. The article analyzes problems derived from the existence of different styles, describes the practice of reusing dies and excludes the existence of the so-called novenets.
