- Abstract
The article considers various problems experienced by engineering- and technology-oriented universities in Croatia. In contrast to other European schools engaged in engineering and technology, Croatian universities are said to have lack the necessary interaction between science, technology, economy and society which can be attributed to myriad reasons. It is mentioned that in order to resolve these problems there should promotion of teachers, support for research and improvement of university outreach.
