- Abstract
The article focuses on the publication of a nursing research strategy conducted by the Danish Nurses Organization which particularly emphasizes the importance of producing results. The utilization of research can be considered in terms of instrumental, conceptual and symbolic utilization. Instrumental utilization is the concrete practical application of research findings translated into material forms such as clinical guidelines, standards, appraisal tools, pathways and algorithms. It is important for researchers together with healthcare professionals to enhance the repertoire of skills for activating a sound knowledge transformation cycle in qualitative research in caring sciences.
